Can pay information be kept separate from billing information?
Yes. Viewing pay rates and pay information are distinct permissions from viewing bill rates. Payroll batches, payroll reports, and pay worker items are each governed by their own permissions.
What happens when someone joins or leaves?
Onboarding is assigning a role and team — permissions and client visibility follow automatically. Offboarding is deactivating the employee; their history stays intact for reporting and past batches remain locked. Reactivation is a permission if they return.
