Click on the Bill Batches Tab which can be found in the Accounting Center section of the Invoicing Screen. The Bill Batch list contains all of the bill batches created, sorted by the most recent bill batch at the top. You, or any other administrator, can adjust performance settings to reduce the number of bill batches that appear in the list. Additionally, an administrator can choose to block loading until a Load Button is clicked. If you see a Load Button appear, simply click it to view the bill batches.
The Bill Batches Tab uses a drill-down structure. Entire bill batches are at the top level. You can click on the plus sign next to any bill batch to view the clients that were included in the particular bill batch. Clicking on the plus sign next to any client will show you the workers who billed hours for that client. Each level shows you the total Revenue, Cost, and Margin for that group, whether it's the entire bill batch, a client, or a worker.
Bill batches and clients also have a printable report associated with them that show you the entire item billing detail for that particular bill batch or client. To access the report click the link in the Report column for the particular row. Reports can be produced in Excel or PDF format. This setting can be changed by an administrator in the General Tab of the Settings Screen.
All reports are generated when the bill batch is created. They cannot be regenerated unless you undo and recreate the bill batch.
What's the point of the Client Detail report if the same information appears on an invoice? The client detail report is meant to be used internally, although it can be sent to a client if you so desire. In fact, you can choose the invoice setting that hides the detail on the invoice and then send the client detail as a separate attachment.
There are various commands that you can perform in the Bill Batches Tab, which are detailed in other sections. Below is a short overview for each command. Click the command to view the detailed help topic.
