Company Section

The company section contains the main information for the client. What you enter here affects drop-down boxes that contain your client list, and affect invoices that are sent to the client.

Code
The Client Code is a required field that is a short (10 characters max) representation of your client's name. The EYH System does not automatically assign codes. That is decided at your (or another administrator's) discretion. The Client Code will be used in drop down boxes and on display lists throughout the EYH System.

Why is client code necessary? Some company names are lengthy. Using the full name of the company in drop-down selection boxes and in tabular lists would cause a variety of formatting issues.

Company
The Company Name is a required field and is the full business name of the company. This name will appear on Invoices.

Address Info
Address 1, Address 2 (if exists), Address 3 (if exists), City, State, and Zip is for reference purposes only. If you want to include this address on invoices make sure to include it on the Billing Address Tab.

Country
Leave blank if the client is located in the USA, otherwise fill in a country name.

Website
The client's website.

Contacts Section

The contact section contains the information for the client's main contact and billing contact. The billing contact is the person who receives invoices. The EYH System sends invoices to the billing contact's email address.

Contact Name
The name of the main contact person for this client. You probably want to list the person responsible for giving your tasks and requirements.

Contact Phone
The phone number for the main contact.

Contact Email
The email address for the main contact.

Billing Name
The name of the main billing contact person for this client. This person will receive your invoices when you email your invoices through the EYH System.

Billing Phone
The phone number for the billing contact.

Billing Email
The email address for the billing contact.

Billing Section

The billing section contains all the relevant information related to invoicing and payments.

Hourly Rate
At the top of the section is a field for Hourly Rate. This information is required. If you supplied a default hourly rate in settings for all of your clients, this field will be automatically populated with this number upon adding a new client.

Below the Hourly Rate field are three tabs.

Credit Card Tab
The credit card tab holds all the relevant credit card information. These fields are for reference purpose only. The EYH System is fully secured (see our Information Security Policy for more information), but does not process credit cards.

Billing Address Tab
You can elect to use the address under the Company Section (there will be no need to retype it) or you can put in a different address).

Notes Tab
You can type notes or any other information you feel is not covered by the other fields.
