Overview of Recurring Billing

Table of Contents  > Time & Sales Screen > Recurring or Scheduled Billing > Overview of Recurring Billing

The purpose of recurring billing is to repeat an entry that gets billed on a regular basis. You can schedule any Time & Sales entry (e.g. hourly billing, fixed-price item, expense, or pay worker item) in the EnterYourHours.com system to recur on a monthly or weekly basis. All aspects of the Time & Sales entry will be automatically entered into the system on the day you specify in the recurring form. You can configure the recurrence to automatically append a month or week label onto the description of each recurrence.

Generally you will want to use the recurrence feature if you bill something at the same amount of hours on a regular basis, or you bill a fixed-price item of the amount. However, if you need to vary the amount of hours or dollars you can always schedule the recurrence, and then simply edit the new recurrence once see it show up in your history.
